Jacopo Carucci (24 Mayıs 1494–2 Ocak 1557), genellikle Pontormo olarak bilinen ve eğitimini Leonardo da Vinci, Piero di Cosimo ve Andrea del Sarto'dan almış olan Maniyerist ressam.1 Çalışmaları, Floransa Rönesansı'nda görülen perspektif düzenliliğinden derin bir üslup kaymasını temsil ediyor.234

Mantık dışı unsurlarla dolu olan Maniyerist üslubu seven Pontormo'nun eserlerinde5 sık sık hiçbir yere çıkmayan merdivenler ve mantıksız orantılar görülür.6
