Albania (Albanian: Shqipëria) is a country located in Southeastern Europe. Its capital and largest city is Tirana. Albania is bordered by Montenegro to the northwest, Kosovo[a] to the northeast, North Macedonia to the east, Greece to the south and southeast, and the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea to the west and southwest, respectively.
Albania has a population of approximately 2.8 million people and is a parliamentary democratic republic. The official language is Albanian, and the majority religion is Islam. Albania has a rich cultural history and is known for its traditional music, food, and dance.
The country has a diverse landscape, with mountains, valleys, rivers, and beaches.
